First settled clergy Rev. James McElveen, tenure 1898 - 1900. Formerly worshipped in a vacant warehouse 1896 - 1904 when the weather was inclement. Worshipped in a brush arbor when the weather was suitable. The organization came into being after the railroad was built and the population became more dense in this locality.
